One month ago… 

We have officially been in the new house for one month. Farm life if you can call it that because we have yet to purchase any live stock, is very different from what we’re used to. For one thing, you have to get to work right away when you wake up. There’s no sipping coffee…

New Saturday routine 

Saturday’s are going to look a lot different for us now that we have a little property to tend to. Today started out with almost 2 hours of watering and trying up the yard, which my son declared was ” not ready for a party.” At any rate, I trudged on and decorated the porch….

Table for two…

As I was preparing dinner, I looked out my kitchen window to see a bright, lemon yellow male Anerican Goldfinch dining on  my newly setup kitchen feeder. It has the hummingbird feeder on the top, but to my delight the goldfinches love the sunflower seed. Who would have thought? When I went out the back…
